My name is Joel Richard. I am born and raised in Kingston Prince Edward Island. I am currently a first year student at Holland College taking the Computer Information Systems program. I am on a quest to better myself and to impact the world in a positive way.I started at young age working various jobs gaining experience to build on my resume. After determining the path I wish to take, I have returned to further my education. In my spare time I indulge in gaming and computer programming. I have a strong interest in ethical hacking and Linux based operating systems. Long live the terminal!I am a privacy advocate who seeks individual online security. I support open-source software and believe that we as people should have a right to know what a company or group is doing with our personal information on the internet. In my current program, I am acquiring skills that will allow me to contribute to projects that will lead to a more privacy respecting world. One of my hobbies is as a content creator on YouTube and Twitch. I speed-run Mario and Zelda games to entertain the fans. In addition, I host multiplayer games to improve my social skills and meet new people. I seek to improve my content quality and just have fun.
