Managed implementation of significant enhancements and upgrades while utilizing quality control best practices to proactively reduce the number of outages/incidents. Led efforts to resolve any incidents/outages, perform root cause analysis and determine preventative measures for the future. Led the strategy, development and implementation of new services to add Enterprise Single Sign On capability using the ORACLE IAM Suite and manage passwords in a more secure and efficient manner using the CyberArk Privileged Account Solution.

Assisted in defining the strategy and successfully led the overall program to deliver a new Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform to ensure the appropriate access management controls were in place to meet Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and audit requirements. Managed a $15M budget and staffed a team of 50 people who developed and delivered a new centralized IAM platform in 2007 and migrated existing platforms and applications to it. Maintained the IAM platform and managed integration with other critical Infrastructure Shared Services.

Managed several projects in an effort to integrate the large number of systems resulting from the purchase of Cable & Wireless by SAVVIS. Assisted in reviewing the systems used by both companies and identified redundant applications and areas for consolidation. Oversaw the integration of the applications that support Sales, Carrier Accounting and the Hosting Quote-to-Billing Processes. Significantly reduced cost by decommissioning redundant applications and their related infrastructure. Led the team through the migration and relocation of the IT development function to headquarters in St. Louis.

Starting in Dec 2002, Successfully led a geographically dispersed team, comprised of 55 people developing and supporting over 50 business applications, through a corporate-wide restructure driven by the goal of becoming cash flow positive. Reduced headcount by 50% through a more efficient use of internal resources and outsourcing. Also reduced Operations and Maintenance cost by $4M by re-negotiating vendor support agreements. Initially, managed a team of 35 people responsible for Application Integration, Quality Assurance and Infrastructure Management within a globally dispersed IT Organization.
