Within my last role as Plant Operator, I perform as a member of Commissioning and Operations team of Ruwais Train 4 NGL Recovery Unit and Gas Sweetening (Amine Treating Unit) and Acid Gas removal unit. I coordinate with managers to learn in-house systems. I interface between operations and maintenance teams, ensure environmental compliance and efficient facility operations, including startup and shutdown of the natural gas plant and individual equipment and work on multiple fluid processes separating equipment. Additionally, I enforce all plant safety, environmental, and operating procedures, while drafting and revising operating manual, pre-commissioning and commissioning manual, SOPs, training module, and induction module. I prepare daily progress reports while also conducting ongoing performance assessment of current employees. Furthermore, I streamline production operations, locating problems while creating and implementing processes / procedures, and acquire, log, and assess results to maintain tabs on plant processes and conditions.As a key member of the organization, I am accountable for operating the Cryogenic Refrigeration process, Amine and Regeneration Units, NGL, and Ethane recovery units. I am also responsible for assessing PFDs, P&IDs, Cause & Effect Matrix, datasheets, calculations, control philosophy, safe chart, PSSR, HAZOP and emergency shutdown system, while revising the same as per plant operation requirement and project specifications.I change over running machines and prepare for maintenance handing over while following safety protocols. I maintain adequate pressure, temperature, and flow of gases on processors while administering maximum quality control of operations. Address equipment problem and process work order maintenance requests. I improve production operations, locating problems while creating and implementing processes and procedures.

As a Field Engineer at Reliance, my primary work was to oversee Inlet gas receiving systems (HIPPS) and gas dehydration systems (TEG). Here, I charted activities and production schedules and evaluated condition and operability of facilities and structures through field site inspections. Through my inspections, I notified the Superintendent and/or Location Manager of any safety hazards, environmental issues, or system deficiencies in the workplace, while enforcing necessary plant safety controls.Apart from my daily duties, I was involved in spearheading commissioning and pre-commissioning activities of gas dehydration units (Comart), inlet gas system and fuel gas skids, and MEG System (MEG pre-treatment and regeneration). I attained compliance with permit to work system and BSC checklists. Additionally, I led activities related to gas separation through slug catchers, subsea well head MEG injections and MEG Regeneration Units, and Gas Condensate Recovery and Handling Facilities. I was also selected for an internal post as Project Procurement Engineer in the company.Furthermore, I increased plant efficiency through seeking related opportunities, while also building a working knowledge of the relationship between operations and merchandising. I aimed to create a quality culture in the work force to achieve quality leadership in the industry and led Panel Operations on DCS (Foxboro) by Invensys and ESD by Triconex. I also assisted with monthly reports to management and operation teams.
