Hi! My name’s Joel; I’m composer, arranger, and performer based in Brisbane, Australia. I specialise in screen composition across all genres and mediums, as well as pop, jazz, and orchestral arranging and orchestration. I am especially passionate about video game music, and am always diligently working to refine my craft!Some of my recent projects include composing the score for the Griffith University graduating play of 2023 (FESTEN); compositions for numerous Brisbane-based groups including the ConFusion Group and QYO Big Band; composition for Ray Lin’s Chinese Ensemble project Echo of Jade, as well as guest lecturing at Queensland Conservatorium. I’ve tutored internationally in music performance, composition, arranging, and theory, and have been recognised by 4-time Grammy recipient Gordon Goodwin, and Grammy and Tony recipient Charlie Rosen.
