As Senior Data Architect, I worked with cross-functional teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications. Partnered with cross-functional technical teams to launch projects and provide ongoing technical support. Collaborated with management to identify opportunities to streamline technology processes and develop new procedures that support the business unit/department. Established a technical roadmap for the platform and/or capability strategy and lifecycle that considers value-based outcomes, costs to maintain, supportability, and performance. Architected, developed solutions and managed AARP's AWS data management team for AARP's Unified Marketing Platform. My team was responsible for the marketing and foundation data warehouse, interfaces to Salesforce, mainframe, all data feeds in and out, Informatica ETL's, Rest API's (API Gateway), Lambdas, SQL stored procedures and Tableau data and reports for the platform.

Responsible for driving high-level enterprise architecture development and implementation across AARP and mapping business and technology strategy and goals to business and technology functions. Collaborate with the Client Services Group in using the Enterprise Architecture discipline to augment their projects as well as with domains across ITS to optimize enterprise architecture processes and drive ITS innovation in support of AARP business objectives.

Architected Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) migration of B2B system to “just-in-time” order phones. Wrote multi-threaded HTTPS data mining system in Java. Defined J2EE architecture and wrote framework for web-based error management and reporting system.

Enterprise Service Bus product evaluation for Gov't customer. Lead architect for multiple gov't projects.

Managed team that was responsible for selection, deployment, license management and internal support for all software development tools.

Wrote XML interface in Java to CNBC for portfolio transfer.

Technical lead for MCI’s Personal Web Page (PWP) project. Wrote performance monitors to track system utilization for the PWP and Registration products. Managed billing traffic organization which included 3 groups: switch polling, switch traffic analysis and software development groups related to telecom switch billing traffic. Principle designer/developer of a multi-protocol communications product.
