In my role as a Senior Data Scientist at CGI, I undertook diverse assignments that showcased my proficiency across various domains. Here are some key highlights from my tenure:Domain Expert - UNDERWATER MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, 10/2019 – 2023As a domain expert in signal processing and underwater sound and electromagnetic field propagation, I played a pivotal role in designing and implementing the software component of an underwater measurement system. My responsibilities included working with underwater signals, high-performance IP systems, numerical analytics, and ensuring the security of IT systems handling classified information. The technologies I utilized encompassed Python and PyQT.Data Scientist - AUTONOMOUS DRIVING, 2019/09 - 2019/10In this capacity, I collaborated within a team to create and implement an algorithm for object tracking in autonomous cars, facilitating automated annotation of video data. My expertise encompassed deep learning, object detection, and visual inspection.Data Scientist – R&D Telecom, 2019/06 – 2019/11As a data scientist and technical lead, I spearheaded the development of an algorithm for extracting valuable statistical insights from mobile network traffic. The project involved the use of Python, PySpark, and Hive in conjunction with AWS. My skills extended to big data analytics, statistical analysis, and cloud computing with AWS.Data Engineer - Steel Manufacturing, 2019/06 – 2019/10In the capacity of a data engineer, I played a key role in designing the data flow from local sensor data to AWS, primarily utilizing Apache Kafka. My expertise covered Kafka, sensor data acquisition, and AWS.Data Scientist - Production Optimisation, 2019/04 - 2019/06I worked on identifying the root cause of production problems by employing a statistical approach combined with machine learning algorithms. My proficiency included machine learning, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis.

During my time at FMV, I worked as a domain expert in underwater physics. I was involved in requirements analysis, measurements, and education related to underwater signatures.

In my role, particularly with PGS, a significant focus has been on the development of numerical algorithms and programs for forward and inverse modeling of electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation in marine environments. My primary expertise lies in employing the Integral Equation (IE) method in 3D (volume integrals) for the mathematical approach to calculate EM wave propagation.I took on the responsibility of developing essential codes integral to PGS Streamer, contributing to the estimation of electrical properties below the sea bottom down to several kilometers. As the project leader for the EM propagation and sub-bottom resistivity imaging code development project, I dedicated substantial efforts to parallel implementation using openMP and MPI, ensuring efficient cluster execution.During my tenure at PGS, I took on expat assignments, residing and working in Edinburgh in 2008 and Houston in 2012. In addition to contributing to the development of production-focused modeling codes, I played a key role as part of the research team dedicated to exploring innovative methods for estimating electromagnetic properties beneath the sea. This collective effort within the research team led to the publication of several conference contributions and articles.In addition to the aforementioned projects, my diverse responsibilities included improving a seismic modeling code, constructing a Linux computational cluster, developing signal processing and Matlab programs with GUI, managing large volumes of data, optimizing with extensive datasets, engaging in navigation projects, creating a C++ GUI, developing finite difference acoustic code, and conducting theoretical research for geophysical methods. These experiences reflect my versatility and commitment to advancing the understanding and application of electromagnetic properties in the marine domain.

After completing my Master Thesis with FOI, I took on part-time employment to finalize the development of my line integral equation-based code for numerically modeling electromagnetic wave propagation underwater. This code was specifically designed for the numerical modeling of electromagnetic wave propagation underwater. The primary objective of the code was to calculate the electromagnetic (EM) response from ocean bottom pipelines. The ultimate application envisioned was for integration into Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) to facilitate the detection and precise positioning of underwater pipelines.
