Currently, I primarily perform construction engineering services in the field at the Eppley Terminal Drive & Canopy Project.

Midwest Steel Works is a full-service steel fabricator where I employed SDS/2 steel detailing software to model steel members and create fabrication and erection drawings for large and small projects. I read and interpreted architectural and construction drawings to accurately draw steel beams, columns, and other miscellaneous steel members. I worked with fabricators and professional engineers to help ensure all steel components were fabricated timely and accurately.

While at NDOT, I completed state-wide roundabout and railroad crossing inventory projects and then presented the findings to the Strategic Safety Infrastructure Project Team, comprised of the heads of the traffic engineering divisions and other district engineers. I evaluated crash data in Nebraska for patterns & trends and provided suggestions to improve safety. In summary, I obtained real-world engineering experience, built relationships with traffic safety engineers, and collaborated on projects.
