Relevant Client Experience Chevron Joel worked closely with the tech lead to schedule and plan for the project before on-boarding an offshore team. The project was a migration from SQL Server 2012 to Teradata 2015 that will continue to use SSIS as the primary ETL tool.Santander Bank Joel helped to develop a new SQL Server database needed to support the back end of a Microstrategy implementation. He used SSIS to develop new ETL processes to keep the database up to date. Before leaving the project, Joel worked directly with the Santander staff to help prepare them to maintain their new data management strategy.Petco Joel engineered new ODI ETL processes and modified existing processes for their Teradata system. He coordinated with both an offshore development team and the QA team to ensure on-time development and adherence to best practice testing procedures. Cox Media Group - Videa Joel helped migrate Videa’s data off of their poorly performing SQL Server implementation onto a new Teradata 15.10 box. Four years and 13 Terabytes of Nielsen television data were reloaded, and all of their SSIS packages became converted to TPT and BTEQ scripts. Once successfully moved over, Joel trained Videa staff to maintain their new data warehouse.
