Mission to bring the issues and adverse impacts of the ILLEGAL Cannabis market to the attention of my fellow Ontarian's. To their credit, the Government of Ontario has invested $31 million to the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team, I hope the Law & Order system gets the memo and takes action. I intend to nudge them along.

A team we assembled secured over $70 million in cashflows for a First Nation. WAY above community and Industry expectations. The incredible story; in 1994 the FN had agreed to a hydro power generation dam on a river in their territory. The project underperformed. Their expectations weren't met. LongNorth with the support of attorney Lou Streszos, McMillans and PWC worked with the Chief, Council, community and the Ontario Ministries of Energy and Finance with Brookfield Renewables to deliver a breakthrough reconciliation package for our client, the First Nation.

Lead an outstanding team in Liberia West Africa supported by others in Toronto, the UK, Spain. Created and established an award winning operation that successfully harvested wood-chips from rubber trees in Liberia and exported to Biomasse Italia in Crotone Italy and other clients in Europe . We sold the business to John McCall MacBains philanthropic fund, PAMOJA Capital when BRE was pre revenue. All founding investors made a significant profit. In 2010 PAMOJA sold a percentage of the FUELS business which I lead to Vattenfall, the large Swedish utility and SWEDFUND, the Swedish government development investment vehicle. The on the ground due diligence they conducted was extensive and deep. The investment closed for 30 million Euros, valuing the Fuels business at 100 million Euros. I left the company in this period because I felt the plan being contemplated was too aggressive. BREs initial goal was to commission a 40 Mw biomass power plant in Liberia, using the rubber tree woodchips as a fuel source. We know they were a good source of fuel for energy because the Europeans used them. Sadly this powerplant did not get developed. My experience in Liberia caused me to form electricity4everyone, a non profit, charity that I tried to get traction on. My personal belief is that everyone in the world should have access to affordable electricity. Access to affordable electricity in fact should come before a lot of other development and aid. E4E has not taken off and it sits on my shelf of broken dreams. However access to affordable electricity remains a deeply held conviction of mine that I hope to see in my lifetime A few NGOs have written adverse reports on BR researched and written well after I left the company. It breaks my heart to read them to be honest. Things weren't as they described them when I was there. I remind anyone that Vattenfall and Swedfund, 2 serious organizations, conducted extensive due diligence on the business I ran and we passed.
