I bring over two decades of Owner Representation and Project Leadership & Management experience to the hospitality and commercial real estate, development and construction sectors. I use my extensive knowledge and background to provide Clients with the ability to accurately plan and forecast costs to ensure their projects are successfully delivered within internal budgets and schedules. I believe Owner Representation should embody a complete reflection of the Client’s dreams and goals for the asset and consider taking a very pro-active approach in upfront planning and managing the initial programming phases is vital to an effective design and the implementation and execution of successful project. Services currently provided by Tate Consulting include Owner Representation, Program Management, 3rd Party Project Management, Monitoring, Lender inspections, Construction Management and Due Diligence studies related to commercial, hospitality, assisted living, institutional and multi-family sectors. Prior to founding Tate Consulting in 2023, I worked for PDSI (Project Development Services, Inc.) for 15-years starting in 2008 where I demonstrated and further developed my ability to communicate project intent and expectations at all levels, from Owner/Client to Designer to Purchasing Agent & Contractor. Prior to that, I honed my strong organizational skills and ability to manage multi-faceted projects as a Project Manager for the Penrose Group, a Northern Virginia developer specializing in Class A office buildings, upscale multi-family buildings and Master Planned mixed-use developments. I served as an Estimator/Project Manager for Performance Contracting, Inc. upon graduation from college where I was directly involved in all aspects of buying out and managing commercial, institutional and industrial construction projects.
