During this time I ran teams of up to 5 professional model makers and all the compliance that went along with this.I was using CAD drawing programs from 1988 onwards, to run cutting machines until we realised there real benefit was in mass production only. Each producing a vast diversity of work and employing and training up to five modellers full time, while co operating with an incredible collection of highly talented individuals in many disciplines and from many countries. Each producing a vast diversity of work and employing and training up to five modellers full time, while co operating with an incredible collection of highly talented individuals in many disciplines and from many countries. We were one of the first studios to enter into the CAD-CAM era with the secound Australasian computer cutting and detailing machine from America.This was an amazing time to be part of Sydney's large artistic collaborative,and also a buoyant time in there economic growth, which supplied interesting and challenging work to its artisans.
