After graduating high school in ‘99, I joined the US Army Reserves, and received training as a Military Police Officer, with an emphasis on AWOL apprehension, air marshal and traffic accident investigation. Shortly after basic training, I attended University of Northern Colorado to study business, however, after 9/11, I received activation orders and got called to active duty for five years at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO. During those five years, I took leave time and got on the crew for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Provo for NBC, as well as the 2 Stanley Cups in Denver, The NHL and NBA All-Star events, and several other events as an audio engineer and broadcasts freelancer. As soon as my term ended with the Army, I became a remote television engineer, and an audio engineer full time for Remote Broadcasts Inc. I was on the road around 200 days a year, and currently, am on 75 days a year, televising sports for ESPN, FOX, CBS and an assortment of networks. At the end of December 2008, a disc jockey company I worked with since 1994, filed bankruptcy, I bought it, and after a couple of months of re-organization and marketing, it is now the largest mobile DJ Company in Colorado, I re-named it Rockcandy Professional Disc Jockeys. While attending UNC in 2000, I met Valerie, my wife. We married August ‘04, and we a son Cooper. I love to travel (I have been to eight countries, three continents and 47 of the 50 states) and broadcasts sports (over 1000 productions I have been a part of, over 18 years) I am very blessed and I can only hope everyone else has the success I have had so far.
