Completed yearly reserve evaluations and quarterly year end reserve forecasts. Focused primarily on unconventional Viking, Beaverhill Lake and conventional Manville formations. Significant experience in other pools such as the Sparky, Cardium, Charlie Lake, Dunvegan, Duvernay, Ellerslie, and shallow gas reservoirs. - Created full field development plans, proposed and supported secondary recovery conversion candidates. Completed well conversion applications to meet regulatory requirements to support full field development and increase field recovery. Calculate Incremental waterflood production profiles and complete economic analysis for business case support.- Specialized in monitoring and optimization of conventional vertical and unconventional horizontal multistage fractured waterflood schemes in Alberta resulting in increased oil reserves and daily production. Monitored using OFM, hall plots, fluid level analysis, VRR analysis, conformance analysis, decline analysis, OOIP volumetric recovery factors, material balance, tracer studies, and traditional data trend analysis using Power BI and Spotfire. - Utilized analog pool and competitor completions analysis, numerical reservoir modelling (CMG), pressure transient analysis (initial and depleted buildup and falloff), rate transient analysis, nodal analysis and D-fit analysis in order to complete reservoir and completion sensitivity analysis. Used this info to optimize well productivity, well spacing, fracture spacing and drainage area assumptions. Investigated fluid and rock properties such as PVT, permeability, porosity, pore throat distributions, capillary pressure, fluid saturations, relative permeability, and reservoir heterogeneity in order to characterize and optimize current and investigate new development opportunities.

Operations engineering duties included NW AB (Beaverhill Lake, Cardium and Dunvegan), Central Alberta (Manville, AB Viking), Southern Alberta (Ellerslie/Sunburst/AB Bakken/Duvernay) and West Central Saskatchewan (Viking) plays. - Completed downhole and surface designs for production equipment of new and existing wells, including insert pump/reciprocal pump/ESP, rod/guide design, landing depths, and other lift options (gas lift and jet pumps), electrification and VFD/automation systems. Maximized lease and facility profitability by reducing downtime, workover frequency, flattening decline profiles, and increasing daily production. Reviewed and optimized facility and pipeline equipment and operating parameters to identify bottlenecks, corrosion and wear risks, cathodic protection needs, equipment upgrades (pumps and compressors), fluid processing improvements (JT skids, filtration, compression, refridge units, pigging modifications). Managed general equipment inventory and maintenance. - Directly managed wellsite supervisors for daily rig operations and interventions to keep operations on time and on budget.
