Current• At hire, started as X-Ray Technologist at this facility’s unique Urgent Care and Primary Care setting. This role quickly evolved into a Medical Assistant role, requiring on-the-job learning in both service units. Accepted additional leadership and operational responsibilities as Primary Care Manager one year later.• Provide daily oversight and staff leadership with a focus on exceeding standards in safety, cleanliness, and compliance with DEA, OSHA and HIPAA requirements.• Assess operational procedures and patient data in order to make strategic business decision that create a more positive, welcoming environment for patients. Enhancements have generated favorable patient feedback, and retention.• Take part in, and contribute to staff meetings for the purpose of maintaining an engaging and rewarding work environment. • Assist patients in all areas of the center, from registration, acclimating them to treatment areas, conduct patient interviews, take vitals, administer medicine and assist with procedures and perform venipunctures and in-house diagnostic testing.• Provide patient follow-up care and reach out to third parties, such as pharmacies and referral providers.
