Developing and executing a long-term strategy for obsolescence management for all products under the Rail Control Solution division, Sub region Nordic & Sub Sahara Engineering.Ensure that obsolescence is managed as an integral part of all design, development, production and in-service support at customer side in order to minimize cost and detrimental impact throughout the product life cycle by closely co-operate with Nordic sales and logistics product and solutions owners to safeguard that pro-active and re-active obsolescence tasks are completed on time. Analyzing obsolescence technological problems in installed application systems, checking its technical resolution and working condition, collaborating with sales team, engineers, and product managers for obtaining accurate information of application usage, system operations, and product management and monitoring the same for obtaining new sales opportunities.
