Joe has more than 40 years of experience leading outsourcing transactions, shared services design and process improvement initiatives. He has led engagements to design and implement global shared services organizations. Joe has led Business Process Outsourcing engagements including strategy and assessment, RFP development, service provider selection, contract negotiations and transition. Joe’s extensive experience has been built working with leading clients such as BP, Bank of America, CNA Insurance, Colgate-Palmolive, Dow Corning, GAP, General Mills, Hanesbrands, The Hershey Company, NiSource, Pearson, Pfizer, Siemens, Starbucks, Symantec, U.S. Cellular and Western Union.With KPMG and EquaTerra, Joe gained experience in several BPO disciplines including Finance and Accounting, Source to Pay, Quote to Cash and Customer Contact Center. He has participated in both multi-tower and single tower transactions. Joe served as a Senior Business Advisor with The Hackett Group – developing and subsequently managing all facets of the business advisory service programs for “Invoice to Cash” and “Purchase to Pay”. Joe has authored empirical data-based research and analysis and conducted advisor inquiry service sessions with executives seeking to drive world-class performance. As a senior consultant with Gunn Partners, Joe partnered with global organizations on strategic and organizational transformation initiatives across multiple staff support functions. Highlights include consulting with a $2 billion wireless phone service provider in developing a comprehensive, full-business organizational redesign including the establishment of shared services, and conducting an economic and feasibility analysis and design of a shared services center for a large multi-national industrial corporation.
