About Joe Lasley, Phd

My name is Joe Lasley, aka Dr. Joe, and I am an assistant professor, coach and consultant who specializes in experiential learning and using gaming for leadership development. I work with students, clients, and teams. Together we generate developmental interactions and I facilitate a creative process that helps participants learn about themselves and build personal agency in group dynamics. The goal of this work is to support people, their passions, living enriching lives, co-creating a socially just future, and all while having some fun while we are at it!Leading with my strengths: Joe is an adventurous explorer that motivates groups to embrace challenges by learning together to create unique ways of thinking, being, and doing. Purpose: Promote Meaningful Community Experience. Mission: foster environments in which people create and experiment with new ways of being that lead to collective transformation and a socially just future. Vision: to live in a world where people live with passion for developing core character together every day. Humans interact free from constraints of invented barriers and readily invest themselves in meaningful relationships equally challenging and respecting individual perspectives. I use gaming to help people learn about themselves, group dynamics, and discovering how the world works. I apply concepts of communication, creativity, community, innovation, and game design to help catalyze growth. I aim to work as a practitioner of leadership development and educator.
