Prior to my career in search, I had a successful career in nonprofit development, communications, and talent management. With Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery I led the entire development and communications operations, including major gift work, annual fund, volunteer programs, social media efforts, as well as a capacity building campaign. At Minnesota Medical Foundation I led development efforts for diabetes research at the University of Minnesota.Prior to my career in nonprofit development I practiced law both in Minneapolis / St. Paul and New York City. I earned a J.D. from The New York University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota. In those roles I developed strong interview, discovery, and public speaking skills. I have served as a volunteer with numerous community and nonprofit organizations.
