I am involved in delineating how to accelerate growth in different market segments and the contribution of customers within each segment.• Attended the ADSA-ASAS joint annual meeting (JAM) in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Shingle Creek. Annual meeting offered over 2,200 oral and poster presentations from scientists all around the world. Topics included: health and well-being, human and animal nutrition, food safety, production, management, and dairy food science. • Worked conjointly with various domestic and international customers and companies on extensive projects from start to finish in order to assist their particular needs; in turn gaining additional future orders and recommendations.• Attended a seminar by Professor Ed Hess from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business - "Building a Growth Machine"​.• Led substantial project with Virginia Tech's Meat Science Center Coordinator Jordan Wicks which used an innovative food system for delivering Choline, an essential nutrient for memory/liver function, Green Tea which assists weight management, and coated Citric Acid which prevents protein denaturation in meats. • Attended weekly production meetings; discussing new leads and future strategies for business operations. • Assisted in creation of Aquaculture and Vitamin C newsletter.• Created an internship/co-op program between Maxx Performance and Virginia Tech/Radford, in which various qualified undergraduates and graduates earned experience in the food technology industry.
