In conjunction with my professional career where most of my work has been focused on the professional sports industry, I’ve taken on freelance which has allowed me to gain experience in a variety of industries such as real estate, health, and trade.Projects undertaken for my clients include anything from corporate branding, print collateral, UX/UI design, website builds and digital graphics. Working for myself has also strengthened my client-facing skills, time management, finance quoting accuracy and budget knowledge.

Racing.com, the media arm of Racing Victoria was launched in late August 2014 and since then has become the leading thoroughbred racing destination for Victoria and South Australia. When appointed, I started as the Lead Digital Designer which was heavily focused on UX/UI best practices across RDC platform.In 2017 I stepped into the role of Head UX/UI & Art Director and worked in a close-knit team to deliver design solutions across digital, social and broadcast. The digital team is made up of digital designers, product owners, front & backend developers and a scrum master. As a team, we have delivered many high-end products, such as the Racing.com digital network, the Racing.com app which is an award-winning app and one of the highest rating sporting apps on Google & iOS stores. A broadcast package suite and a hierarchy system with over 80+ Racing.com brands for both digital and broadcast.The tasks I undertook on a day-to-day basis include brand management across all platforms, producing wireframes and high-end products based on user research and feedback, managing development tasks and deadlines in cross-functional teams, design new ways to integrate technology whilst working in partnership with other organisations to deliver their needs.

In 2011, AFL Media was developed and became one of the first in-house media agencies to work in a major sporting code. I was employed as the lead digital designer and worked cohesively alongside a team of producers, front/back end developers, UX designers and third parties such as Telstra and corporate partners.My role involved maintaining the AFL.com.au platform, working with the UX designer to wireframe & test new products, design new pages and incorporate sponsorship branding, organising and managing freelancers, overseeing deadlines and working across multiple teams within the business to deliver their digital needs.
