- Arrange for Chemical Health Risk Assessment for the major power stations.- Monitor the implementation of Chemical Health Risk Assessment Recommendations in the major power plants.- Arrange for personal monitoring for those who are exposed to health hazards.- Implement noise labeling in all major and minor power stations throughout the state.- Conduct audiometric test for new recruits and retesting all staff in all power stations annually and submit the report to Company doctor as required under the Hearing Conservation Programme. - Arrange for hearing conservation talk by Occupational Health Doctor for all the power station staff as part of the Hearing Conservation Programme as required under the Factories and Machinery Act 1967, Noise Regulation.- Carry out occupational health promotions and awareness drive. - Study, identify suitable personal protective equipment for employees exposed to potential health hazards.- Assist Division Head in the preparation Division Annual Report, Performance Evaluation, Develop Strategies and Plan for the following year.- Assist Division Head in preparation of annual capital and revenue budget for the section’s activities and to ensure that all budgets are effectively utilized.Major Projects Completed/ Currently Involved:- Electromagnetic Field Study on power lines and substations in Sarawak Energy (415V - 275kV powerlines and transformers)- Company wide wellness program for the workforce- Noise Monitoring and Mapping- Hearing Conservation Program- CHRA Assessment- Engineering Control Device assessment and inspection
