An unexpected 2-minute conversation with someone that really listened to me led me to work I’m currently in and am privileged to give my very best to.I told this person that my MSc Dissertation was on the application of renewable energy technology to developing countries for the joint aims of sustainable development and climate change mitigation. Their response was not “mmhmmm”, but instead; “I know some people that DO that”. Those people were the incredible team at Mobile Power.We provide solar pay-per-swap rental batteries for off-grid communities across Africa. I work with our people in multiple West African countries to optimize our operations, shape our systems and develop strong teams to best manage the infrastructure we have set-up to date and ready ourselves for greater growth and impact.The future is so exciting for Mobile Power, being a part of the team is an unbelievable privilege.
