Joel Fitzpatrick is a creative visionary, producer, and multi-disciplinary artist with a passion for design. He is the President and CEO of Joel Fitzpatrick Studio, a design and production company based in New York City, with a focus on experiential events and concerts. Throughout his career, Joel has helped produce over 1,000 events, from design, production and venue management. His client base spans art, music, fashion, beauty, media, tech, and culture. In addition to design and production, Joel represents a stunning and diverse portfolio of spaces in New York City. Along with his production expertise, he is an architectural designer. His work has been featured in Elle Decor and Architectural Digest. Upon graduating from Bennington College, Joel created his first lighting company Double Happiness while attending CalArts for an MFA in Theater Design. He enjoyed tremendous success and expanded his skills to designing the fashion line Pleasure Swell and opened a chain of stores called Swell. In 1995, the CFDA crowned Hush Puppies the Top Accessory of the Year after Joel transformed the brand into a huge phenomenon. In 1996, Joel was nominated for the California Designer of the Year award. Soon after, Joel's foresight and career was referenced in the opening chapter of Malcolm Gladwell's book, The Tipping Point.
