A direct report to the DASA(R&T), provided supervision and planning of Army S&T programs directly influencing the $2B annual Army S&T budget. • Independently developed an innovative new future technology reconnaissance effort in support of both the DASA(R&T) and the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), leveraging cutting-edge methods, to include online crowdsourcing, that inspired the development of numerous novel new technology concepts for S&T programs.

• Nominated to serve as the Executive Officer for PEO Soldier, an organization consisting of four Brigade-Command-Level Project Managers with over 1100 personnel and responsibility for more than 340 Soldier-related products and programs with an annual budget exceeding $1.5B. • Served as the principal assistant and advisor to the Program Executive Officer (PEO). Directed and supervised the PEO's personal staff. Interfaced with the offices of senior leadership within the Army, the DoD, and Congress to ensure that the PEO was fully resourced with appropriate time-management and decision-support tools that enabled timely and prudent decision making. Oversaw all military administrative actions and personnel moves and served as a battle captain for PEO operations spanning the globe.

• Total lifecycle manager for all United States Army soft body armor. Managed the cost, schedule and performance of over $1B of critical survivability products including the Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV), the Advanced Bomb Suit (ABS), Concealable Body Armor (CBA), Pelvic Protection Systems (PPS), and multiple legacy armored vests and associated equipment. • Led a diverse team of civilian and contractor personnel including engineers, logisticians, and acquisition and contracting specialists in planning, developing, testing, and fielding life-saving products for Army Soldiers and other Service Members. • Planned and coordinated the most cost-effective integration of emerging technologies into individual Soldier systems for body armor. • Managed development, testing, production, and fielding of the military’s first female body armor, resulting in better comfort and protection for thousands of female service members in combat.• Regularly interfaced with members of Congress, operational commanders, TRADOC, PEOs, HQDA, OSD, other Services, and Industry Leaders. • Directly influenced the direction of innovation and transformation of the Army’s next generation of body armor.

• Total lifecycle manager for all United States Army flame resistant uniforms and equipment. Managed the cost, schedule, and performance of over $1B of products with FY program allocations of over $250M. • Managed 33 flame resistant clothing programs in context of the approved acquisition strategy, baseline, and associated contractual requirements. • Led a team of civilian and contractor personnel in planning, developing, testing, and fielding mission-critical products for Army Soldiers.
