My initiatives extend to community engagement programs, fostering quality services, and minimizing agency risks through strategic leadership, mentorship, team cohesion, and problem-solving using critical thinking skills in a diverse and equitable environment.As an Adjunct Professor of Political Science and Criminal Justice, I bring my real-world experience into the classroom, both in-person and online, guiding students through complex topics in international relations, terrorism, economics, American government, state and national governance, policy, and criminal justice using collaborative learning, problem-based learning, simulations, distance learning, and both lecture and non-lecture approaches for maximum effectiveness. In addition, my role as a part-time university course designer has enabled me to create innovative, student-focused curricula in a variety of academic disciplines that bridge theory and practice. My overall focus is the “whole student.”My expertise spans a wide range of domains including leadership development, hiring and retention, use of force protocols, Constitutional and criminal law, human resources management, Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) compliance, intricate internal investigations, policy, law enforcement personnel rights, and the creation of rigorous promotional assessments. Additionally, I have served as a public speaker, offering guidance and support to high school athletic teams dealing with off-field challenges and addressing various other contexts.My career has been dedicated to fostering excellence, upholding ethical standards, and instilling a culture of continuous improvement and accountability through servant leadership.
