During this time, I took decisive action where appropriate whilst making decisions within the agreed level of responsibility that was legal, accountable and proportionate as well as maintaining clear communication channels between other Commanders and the team. I gathered, documented, and presented evidence at high court, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail whilst liaising with legal professionals as a subject matter expert.Of my many accomplishments within the Police, I was honoured to be awarded the National Bravery Award by members of the royal family, for actions taken during a live spontaneous incident. -
