I was the Senior Project Engineer responsible for the management and delivery of the rail-specific construction works on the Gold Coast light rail project. This involved specialist in-house and subcontract works and significant exposure to the procurement of specialised local and internationally supplied equipment and material. During my time on the project I led a team of six Project and Site Engineers overseeing $64 million of scope built in just over 12 months without a single LTI… Show more I was the Senior Project Engineer responsible for the management and delivery of the rail-specific construction works on the Gold Coast light rail project. This involved specialist in-house and subcontract works and significant exposure to the procurement of specialised local and internationally supplied equipment and material. During my time on the project I led a team of six Project and Site Engineers overseeing $64 million of scope built in just over 12 months without a single LTI. Working alongside some exceptional supervisors, we achieved laying 1.5km of track per week through the centre of two of the major CBD areas of the Gold Coast with an average workforce size of approximately 120 men. I was a member of the structures team responsible for delivering 32 bridges and 2 underpasses. I worked on a mixture of NSW RMS bridges, ranging from single to 5 span, plank and super T, simply supported and integrated design. The project was a D&C joint venture with Leighton Contractors and Fulton Hogan.

Accelerated programme & heavy industrial relations environment made for a challenging project. The project was a D&C project.Hinze Dam Stage 3:I worked on the upper & lower intake towers upgrade. Raising the existing intake towers by 15m while the towers remained in operation.
