Targeted and fun snow forecasts for Colorado skiers and riders. I combine my knowledge and love of meteorology and communicate the salient information to skiers in a light and engaging way. I don't confuse people with "40% chance of ..." but instead focus on simple and straightforward information.

Created hurricane track and damage forecasts, ran computer models, and analyzed insurance pricing data. I also helped to create the concept and design of the ICAT Damage Estimator, a website that combines real-time data on hurricanes with historical hurricane damages to produce a damage estimate if the current hurricane made landfall. This website took previously locked-up data in academic papers and made it freely available to the public.
