Training local churches and other organizations to serve refugees and Immigrants, with the goal of helping new neighbors flourish in every aspect of their lives. Coordinator for the Puente del Futuro 6th - 8th Grade After School program in Puente del Pueblo (PdP). Puente del Pueblo serves two different apartment complexes in West Chicago with the goal of providing "wrap-around" services to the families in our community. We provide case management and social services as well as after school education programs. I have the privilege of coordinating the 6th through 8th grade after school program (called Puente del Futuro - "Bridge of the Future") at our Timberlake location. My students participate in the program Monday through Friday which incorporates reading, homework help, academic and creative learning projects, life skills, recreation and more.Find out more!

Training students to recognize number pattern and logic, to become problem solvers by developing mental tools and strategies to deal with new problems, and to organize their thinking by creating categories in which to place problems that need to be solved.
