The project included partners from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Sweden. With the main purpose of increasing uptake of renewable energy in rural areas, RASLRES conducted pilots with wood biomass, energy crops, and marine biomass. My position in the RASLRES project was about identifying and counteracting problems and unlocking markets to increase local production and uptake of reed canary grass.
