Of CounselFrank Rosen Snyder & Moss 2004 - 2007Significant accomplishments include achieving a multi-million dollar arbitration award in favor of a businessman who, along with a colleague built a multi-million dollar business from scratch. The plaintiff was forced to sue when his partner fired him from the company and offered the plaintiff nothing for his share of the company. After a hard fought arbitration, and a subsequent bankruptcy filing by the company, the plaintiff collected the full value of his share of the company as determined by the arbitration panel. While at Frank Rosen, Joel was counsel for the Pennsylvania Statewide Latino Coalition and he helped achieve a Court-approved consent decree that significantly reforms the Reading (PA) Police Department's recruitment, application, and hiring practices.
