My name is Joelina Jones and I am a junior health science, major, on the Pre-Medicine track at Spelman College. I am passionate in entrepreneurship, exploring medical issues and helping my community. On campus, I am an active participant in the Spelman Health Careers Program, in which I now serve as the Health Careers Program Ambassador. I am also a member of the Minority Association of Premedical Students (M.A.P.S), Spelman NAACP Social Committee, the Spelman Chemistry Club, and have held an E-board position for two years for Spelman’s Entrepreneurship Club. In addition, I am a Dean’s list student. In my own time I enjoy volunteering in my community at my local food bank and at my aunt’s medical practice. I am looking to gain more experience in the medical and business field. In the future I plan on becoming a dermatologist and owning my own medical spa. I am interested in all opportunities such as, internships, shadowing, study abroad and research experience etc.
