I am a social impact consultant interested in all things impact and evaluation, with 8 years of experience working in different parts of the sector. In my current role as Principal Consultant at The Social Investment Consultancy, I work on various projects with our partners to assess and evaluate the social impact of various programmes and investments. Previously, I was an Advisor at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation(CEI) managing a variety of projects ranging from programme evaluation to helping organisations develop more intentional monitoring and evaluation frameworks. I was also the project manager for the outcome evaluation of KidSTART, a nationwide early intervention programme for low-income families. My previous experiences in the sector also include being part of the Knowledge and Insights team at the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre and as a research associate with the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research situated in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health working on a variety projects involving qualitative research and health service evaluation. Some of my work include:- Project managed the outcome evaluation of the KidSTART, managing the data collection, stakeholders, data analysis and reporting of the findings. - Co-developed content to support capacity building of several organisations such as YTL Foundation, Yayasan MENDAKI, SG Enable and Trybe- Supported organisations to uncover their intended outcomes for different programmes, through developing and facilitating workshops to build Theory of Change and Logic Models- Oversaw the design of the evaluation plans for different programme evaluations for multiple organisations such as NCSS- Supported evidence review work for the Royal commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability for the State of Victoria in Australia- Co-led a population representative study of attitudes of young people and their parents towards mental health support in Singapore. In addition to the above, I guided CEI on other business development ventures to explore ways in which CEI could meaningfully contribute to, and to showcase, the good work done in the social services sector. -
