Hi all...I graduated from the Unv. of NE Lincoln in 1994 with a minor in business, minor in music education and BA in Performing Arts Management. In 2000, I moved to CA and began my Masters in Music Therapy and MPA programs at CSUN while building my own business working primarily with children with and without disabilities using music. Over the years I had seen the need to explain how to read music easily for both parents and children and began writing children's books. My series is called "Clef Notes: Discovering the World of Music". There are 2 superheroes, Mrs. Treble and Mr. Bass, and in book 1, they meet the Bug Band. Each bug represents a letter of the music alphabet. Like Dr. Seuss, these stories are rhyming and have repetition, so the reader not only understands what they're learning about the music staff, but they remember it!
