Managed a team of 22 quality professionals including 2 direct reporting managers, and indirectly supervised 44 operator self-inspectors (OSV) manufacturing operators. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:1. Started the first Aerospace Composite Manufacturing company in United Arab Emirates from the ground up. Responsible for developing people, procedures, training and tools necessary to establish a Quality Management System per AS9100 and customer requirements. Establish goals for quality function in support of overall business objectives. Author of Quality Manual and associated processes. Interfaced directly with Customers, 3rd party QMS auditors, and NADCAP assessors to prove out quality process compliance. Setup and manage Material Review Board (MRB). KEY ACCOMPLISHEMENTS:• Achieved AS9100 certification after only 6 months of production, a record achievement for the European sector of IAQG certified companies.• Achieved zero audit findings in our second year of AS9100 implementation.• Reduced non-conformities by 60% from our initial annual rates.• Saved the company $210k in supplied product using process capability forensics, Cp & CpK analysis.• Statistical techniques resulted in 1st-pass rate from 89% to 98% in first year.• Established MRB function, Nonconforming procedures, and disposition forms.• Performed oversight of over 2000 First Article Inspections by quality inspectors.• Developed a unique batch tracking system that helped reduce overall inspection load and improved recall response times. • Developed a 12 person-team of receiving inspectors from local national community, including one receiving inspection supervisor, to manage the team and report back on team objectives and daily performance.• Developed all QMS metrics, & Supplier Quality metrics and standardized monthly reports, driving actions and continuous improvements throughout the company.• Setup and managed robust internal and external auditing program.

Supplier Quality Engineer lead negotiator for P-8 aircraft military sale (fms) to India customer, recommending committment of company quality resources & tools with India customer and industrial participation suppliers. Managed a team of Supplier Quality analysts, coordinators, and field representatives, ensuring adherence to the Boeing's quality management system, quality engagement with international suppliers, assigning audits, and following up on corrective actions.

Managed major aerospace suppliers in the North-Eastern United States including Northrop, Raytheon, and Textron in support of Boeing Defense Systems. Partnered with commercial process owners on P-8 Poseidon & Wedgetail (both 737 variant) projects to help start up industrial participation operations in India (P8-India) and Australia (Wedgetail). Conducted 2nd party contract audits, supplier surveys, manufacturing process audits, and product audits.Overall management responsibility of the Boeing Quality Management System for $200M worth of hardware & software development for a DoD Customer.

Administered the Systems level change board for a team of engineering change managers. Managed Class 1 and Class II Engineering changes from initial Change Proposal, to impact assessment, approval, implementation, and configuration auditing to ensure engineering requirements baselines stay current.

UAV Dedicated test technician and research analyst working with Unmanned Air Vehicle Systems (UAS) used for Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. FAA certified A&P mechanic/machinist for 737 jet aircraft installing, measuring, drilling, machining, fastening, and finally certifying the quality of wing to body join assembly process. I helped build the aircraft in the photo above.Identified a major tooling quality alignment issue that saved the company 40 heads of labor daily over a six month period totaling over 10 million dollars of savings and 2 months of production schedule delays and manufacturing rework.Team lead mechanic on night shift.
