I am an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer with expertise in a wide range of business matters, including mergers & acquisitions, transaction structuring, investment funds, due diligence, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, capital raising, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.I am a partner at PwC Legal (recognised by the Legal 500), where I co-lead our South Island presence. I work closely with the tax, deals, accounting, consulting and private business teams within PwC, both locally and internationally, offering clients access to a truly commercial and integrated service.As a specialist in transactional law, I assist businesses of all sizes in their growth and exit strategies. I have successfully led large and complex M&A transactions, overseeing detailed due diligence investigations, competitive bid processes, and multi-party/multi-jurisdictional negotiations. Additionally, I provide guidance to distressed businesses on corporate restructuring and advise receivers, liquidators, and administrators in the sale of assets and businesses of insolvent entities. My experience spans both Australian and New Zealand commercial law, and I provide unique insights into cross-border acquisitions, having spent eight years at a large corporate law firm in Sydney, Australia.I am known for my commercial and pragmatic approach, focusing on delivering results that matter.
