My name is Joelle Lorenzetti, I am 24 years old, I am from Florence and I am an Italian and Swiss citizen.In June 2019 I graduated from Polimoda in Florence in Fashion Technology.First I acquired a linguistic training (English, French and Spanish) at the Machiavelli-Capponi French International Lyceum in Florence in which I graduated in 2016.During my studies at Polimoda I won scholarships that allowed me to put the knowledge I learned into practice. The first group scholarship I won was for the construction of the new uniforms for the reception staff of the Careggi Hospital (Florence). Later I had the opportunity to retrace another similar experience, with the victory of a scholarship for the creation of an outerwear for the Herno company, which was exhibited at the celebration of 70 years of activity, at the Leopolda in Florence, during Pitti Uomo. Then, I was selected to create the onboard uniforms for the staff of the new Costa Cruises ships. Finally I was rewarded by Polimoda with a training course of ModarisClassic V8r2 at Lectra.During my studies I acquired skills in pattern making, draping, tailoring, technical data sheets and dedicated CAD and InDesign software. Winning these scholarships made me realize that I have a solid team spirit and that I am a methodical and organized person.I had a curricular internship experience in the pattern making office of Missardi S.P.A (Empoli, IT), where I was able to study in deep my pattern making skills.I am looking for a job opportunity in the fashion sector, even outward of my experiences. I would really like to discover and study the world of sustainability within a fashion production reality, because I firmly believe that we must reverse course for a better future.Best RegardsJoelle Lorenzetti
