About Joellee Powell
I love considering myself to be a citizen of the world! I was born in Jamaica raised in New York City and throughout the years I have traveled to over 27 countries, where I have developed and nurtured relationships across 4 continents. My love of travel has lead me to work as a flight attendant for the last three and a half years. While this job was fulfilling and enjoyable I believe it is time to utilize my skills in a different capacity. I was introduced to the world of project management by a supervisor who thought I would excel in this field because how well I can put together events and vacations. After doing much research I myself see how fulfilling this career role will be for me. I have since enrolled myself into a project manager certification course and have my sights set on taking the PMP exam by early fall. In my spare time I enjoy a good read especially if there is a lesson or skill to be taught in that book. I also volunteer as an event coordinator and I enjoy the responsibilities of overseeing the intricate details of planning events and experiencing the joyous moments when they come to life.
