According to an enneagram personality test I had completed as part of my internship, I was primarily a peacemaker, positively associated with being a good listener, adaptable, empathetic, and more. Yet, this was also a weakness of mine; that personality meant that I tended to be complacent, and slower than others to make decisions. At first, I was conflicted, unsure of what to make of this information and how to feel about it. Eventually, however, I realised that said weaknesses were indeed weaknesses I possessed and had to correct. I had to understand not only my strengths but also my weaknesses, to acknowledge both the pros and the cons. This test served as an opportune reminder to keep on striving, to continually improve both in areas I excel at and areas I may lack in. After all, as the saying goes, awareness is the first step to improvement!I previously studied at Hwa Chong Institution, having Choir as a co-curricular activity and taking a Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics (PCME) subject combination. Served my National Service (enlistment date 4th of April 2021), first going from Basic Military Training Centre School 1 (Dragon Company) before moving on to Island Defence Training Institute (IDTI).After IDTI, I served as a Military Policeman in Gombak Base until my ORD, on the 3rd of February 2023.
