Architected and helped guide the green-field development of a cloud platform that controlled multiple fleets of on-premise robots. This single-instance platform is hosted on GCP and utilizes Apache Nifi to integrate with 3rd party systems. GCP CloudRun, CloudFunctions, Postgress and Kubernetes running Python applications were utilized to build out the business facing and fleet management aspects of this system.• Architected a system that used a combination of serverless and Kubernetes to build a scalable green-field architecture that ran on-premise robots from a multi-tenant cloud system.• Acted as the personnel manager for the Architecture and DevOps team by performing reviews, holding regular one on one’s and setting a direction and vision for the team.• Designed and helped implement a Continuous Deployment pipeline using Jenkins for the builds, Spinnaker for the deployments and Terragrunt/Terraform for the Infrastructure as Code.

Architected and helped guide the ongoing development of TeleTracking’s analytics and machine learning platform. This single-instance platform ingests, processes, and exposes hospital and patient data for consumption by TeleTracking’s customers. To do this Kafka, AWS EMR, AWS Lambda, Spark, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and Tableau are utilized to build the pipeline and business intelligence.

Architected and led the development of a new product platform for Lucas. The goal of the platform was to provide a configurable, on-premise solution that could offer Lucas the ability to sell a wide array of software configurations to their client-base. In addition to this, every solution needed to be able to integrate with a host system and 3rd party applications and machinery. The goal was to get as close to a 12-factor app on-premise as we could get.

Led two successful custom implementations of Lucas’s framework solution. These implementation included mobile, web and server code, technical leadership of several developer and testers, host integrations, 3rd party vendor integrations, project management, customer management, customer training and frontline support.Productized common patterns from within Lucas’s custom solutions. I sought out and proved out ways to productize items that were often done as custom over and over. I successfully demonstrated and guided the development of several applications that were able to be deployed to new customers and retrofitted to existing customers.

Teach Software Engineering, a survey course on what it takes to design, develop and deliver software. I had the students perform a series of labs that I developed to introduce them to many of the key concepts in XP and some other common tools that are not included in most academic curriculums. The course also consists of a project during the second semester. I lead this project and taught them how to manage and work on an agile project with a real customer.

As a technical lead I was expected to fill multiple roles: lead developer, architect, project manager, process champion and mentor. Lead efforts on both “green-field” projects and supported our broad suite of existing products. In addition to these duties, lead a number of cross-department initiatives in a department of approximately eighty.

As a senior developer I led a team of 6 on a project developing a new workflow for our MedShelf-Rx product. Mentored younger developers with a good amount of success. Maintained existing product suite.Additionally to these duties I served as a Scrum Master and went through Mckesson's management training program (Situational Awareness II, HR Classes, Crucial Conversations, Hiring and Interviewing, etc.). Initially hired as a Quality Assurance Engineer on the Central Pharmacy team. Gained experience manually testing packaging and picking products. Eventually transitioned into development and learned Crystal Reports, performed maintenance work, and ultimately became a release developer. As a developer, gained experience with SOLID design, unit testing and was mentored in good development practices.
