Joel is a very driven, and goal oriented individual. He is a team leader, and is always willing to take charge of the task at hand. Joel has the responsibility of running an insurance agency in New Philadelphia Ohio, as well as coaching & teaching other insurance agents how to use social and digital marketing strategies to improve their businesses. Joel started his agency 11 years ago with Farmers Insurance. Joel and his team started from scratch and with hard work and dedication they have built their agency into one of the top agencies in all of Ohio. Joel initially started speaking to fellow agents around the country a few years ago. He was asked to travel so that he could discuss, guide and educate fellow agents on how they could better market to other business owners. During his travels he was introduced to Renee Corwin Rey which then led to the formation of the Social Heroes, LLC. Over the past 3 years, Joel and fellow Social Hero members have traveled the nation speaking to other insurance agents on how they can integrate social and digital marketing into their agency. Joel and the Social Heroes have spoke to crowds ranging in size from 50 to 500. The Social Heroes seminars are interactive all-day workshops, where they share best practices for insurance agents on how to retain and grow their business. Agents will leave the seminar not only inspired to use social and digital marketing strategies, but with concrete things to start doing immediately. During the seminars they have already started to put into practice what they are learning, by having the workshop type atmosphere. They see immediate results, at times, even before the end of the seminar. Joel loves what he does, and is passionate about it.
