Working as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager I am a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer who has worked in a large, internationally owned manufacturing facility for the last 19 years. With considerable project and people management expertise, and a preference to use a detailed, hands-on approach to attain goals and objectives, I am skilled at designing, developing, installing, commissioning, and managing a wide range of manufacturing assembly lines. This combines with recent and extensive experience in conducting factory analysis, typically leading to identification of efficiency gains and/or potential cost out projects.I have a passion for continuous improvement for both products and production facilities, efficiency of design, and competency in engineering tools and principles such as; LEAN Manufacturing, PFMEA, Control Plans, Project Plans, OEE, PPAP, Visual Studio, and Solidworks. I also carry a vast knowledge of the Australian domestic and industrial gas industry, have an intimate knowledge of all types of gas meters and regulators, and a background which includes experience operating and maintaining industrial machinery for both the gas and automotive industries.
