I stumbled into the SEO game over a decade ago, and ever since then, I have been obsessed (in a good way, I think). From a young age, I fully intended to be a journalist, which is why I have a bachelor's in communications with a specialization in journalism. As I chased this dream, I realized I am way too results-driven (being able to see tangible impacts on people and businesses) to get the satisfaction I thought I would get out of journalism.My SEO obsession began when I started my own blog centred around hockey trade rumours (yes I am Canadian). I became consumed with how I could get my blog articles to rank on Google. This started my decade-plus plunge into the all-consuming vortex that is SEO.I now run the SEO department at a B2B-focused growth marketing agency, Konstruct Digital. I work with a brilliant team where we always push to be at the forefront of impactful SEO strategies. My team is just as results-driven as me, and I kid you not, we all get a high from seeing impactful search traffic increases for our clients (you don't want to see us when we hear a client tell us they made a sale directly from a lead that came from search).Specializing strategies for B2B businesses is a challenge that has renewed that aforementioned obsession with SEO. SEO for B2B presents its own unique challenges that I have thoroughly enjoyed tackling with my team.Developing effective SEO strategies for B2B businesses has been my passion for years now. This includes creating in-depth keyword research strategies specifically for B2B businesses (which I will eventually share on LinkedIn), creating effective content optimization strategies, specializing on-page SEO strategies for B2B and even more tactics that I don't have room to list here.Oh, one more obsession has developed in the last year or so: AI. I have begun delving into how AI can help me and my team deliver more impactful results for our clients. Combining AI tools, APIs, Python scripts, and more has allowed us to significantly increase efficiency and the impact our SEO team can have on businesses. We are consumed with being on the cutting edge of how we can use AI to deliver even better results for the businesses we work with (see some of my LinkedIn posts to learn more about our AI usage, I'm posting about that a lot lately).I absolutely love talking SEO, so if you ever want to learn more or shoot some ideas around I encourage you to reach out to me.
