Oversee three sections under the Air Traffic Management (ATM) branch – Airspace Management, Performance and Capacity, and ATM Development as well as concurrent portfolio in Air Navigation Services Group Master Planning. Airspace Management: - Manage Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) activities and negotiation of similar activities with neighbouring Flight Information Regions - Manage airspace closures and special activities including civil-military coordination like Air Defence Exercise, National Day Parade and Singapore Airshow - Manage relations and develop procedures between civil and military aviation - Design future proof procedures with military to enable smooth operations between civil and military trafficPerformance and Capacity: - Plan runway and airspace capacity, demand management and workload modelling for air traffic control officers - Analyse performance and capacity with stakeholders to address sustainability, delay and efficiency issues - Review air traffic control processes and procedures to enhance ATM efficiency and safety - Manage demand capacity balancing for Singapore Changi Airport - Handle queries from member of public to ensure correct information are communicated to the public while ensuring company’s policy are fulfilledATM Development: - Support research and implement future ATC concept of operations - Direct Institute of Higher learning and Research Institutes in ATM processes for research purposes - Support Air Traffic Flow Management into Singapore - Lead execution of ICAO Air Navigation World 2023 attended by then Act Minister of Transport, Mr. Chee Hong Tat and ICAO Secretary General, Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar. 400 civil aviation authorities, ANSPs, international organisations and industry stakeholders from around the world attended the eventMaster Planning: - Co-lead the development of ATM masterplan for CAAS Air Navigation Services Group - Design and conceptualize future concept of operations for Air Traffic Services

- Planned and managed ATC systems to ensure continued safe and efficient operations of air traffic services - Developed action plans, operational requirements, and end-user solutions to sustainable systems for ATC equipment and supporting decision making tools to meet air traffic growth demand - One such implementation is the Integrated Arrival-Departure (IAD) Management System. IAD achieved optimisation of runway utilisation during mixed-mode operation with harmonised arrival and departure flights. - With a combined integrated display, IAD have reduced from 13 positions to 6 positions, resulting in savings of about S$210,000 per annum. - IAD includes a Departure Manager (DMAN) system that acts as an information exchanger between external systems hosting Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) data and ATMS. It also exchanges information with Surface Manager for more accurate taxi time. - IAD was awarded the MOT Value For Money Award (Merit) and the CAAS ALL-STAR Award in 2021 - Supervised and mentored Systems Planning staff in the field of ATM, formulated courses to enhance and educate controllers’ system knowledge - Coordinated with Engineering department and maintenance contractors to ensure ATM systems are maintained and upgraded as required - Participated in relevant international and reginal forums to progress and pursue CNS/ATM initiatives; to improve ATC operations affecting Singapore Flight Information Region and the surrounding regions

- Led discussion for Change Control Board for Air Traffic Management System (ATMS) - Modified operation dataset for ATMS to better suit day-to-day operation and technical conditions - Developed Arrival Sequencing in Singapore TMA (ASIST) portal in house to complement Air Traffic Flow Management operations - ASIST regulates arrival flights by spacing out flights prior to entering Singapore Flight Information Region. Operator submits flight plans in advance and updates Estimate Time Over (ETO) entry points. ASIST will work out the Target Time Over (TTO) and pilots to adhere to boundary point TTO - Involved in a wider scope of projects besides ATMS, for example, ATS Resource Management System (ARMS) was conceived to provide rostering, duty and fatigue management capabilities for Air Traffic Control Officers and Air Traffic Control Support Officers. - As a cloud-based application, ARMS improves efficiency and productivity by mitigating daily roster issues, tracking controllers’ skill recency and managing fatigue risk - It is estimated to have saved 25.488 man-hours yearly, equivalent to about $800,000 savings yearly - ARMS was awarded the Director-General Award (Outstanding) and Ministry of Transport Value For Money Award (Merit) in 2020

- Verified and validated all Air Traffic Management systems - Worked closely with engineering department, maintenance agent and operation unit to facilitate software changes and system enhancements - Received Director-General Award (Outstanding) in 2019 on the project – Implementing of New Aerodrome Simulation System for Singapore Aviation Academy

- Provided safe, expeditious and orderly traffic flow for aircrafts’ movement in Changi Airport and Singapore’s airspace - Appointed safety officer of the watch for year 2012 to 2014 - Awarded Safety Award for the year 2012/13 and 2014/15 - Guided Changi Tower and Approach trainees as On-the-Job training instructor - Mentored new On-the-Job trainees - Led as On-the-Job Leader for On-the-Job instructors
