CurrentOversee three sections under the Air Traffic Management (ATM) branch – Airspace Management, Performance and Capacity, and ATM Development as well as concurrent portfolio in Air Navigation Services Group Master Planning. Airspace Management: - Manage Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) activities and negotiation of similar activities with neighbouring Flight Information Regions - Manage airspace closures and special activities including civil-military coordination like Air Defence Exercise, National Day Parade and Singapore Airshow - Manage relations and develop procedures between civil and military aviation - Design future proof procedures with military to enable smooth operations between civil and military trafficPerformance and Capacity: - Plan runway and airspace capacity, demand management and workload modelling for air traffic control officers - Analyse performance and capacity with stakeholders to address sustainability, delay and efficiency issues - Review air traffic control processes and procedures to enhance ATM efficiency and safety - Manage demand capacity balancing for Singapore Changi Airport - Handle queries from member of public to ensure correct information are communicated to the public while ensuring company’s policy are fulfilledATM Development: - Support research and implement future ATC concept of operations - Direct Institute of Higher learning and Research Institutes in ATM processes for research purposes - Support Air Traffic Flow Management into Singapore - Lead execution of ICAO Air Navigation World 2023 attended by then Act Minister of Transport, Mr. Chee Hong Tat and ICAO Secretary General, Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar. 400 civil aviation authorities, ANSPs, international organisations and industry stakeholders from around the world attended the eventMaster Planning: - Co-lead the development of ATM masterplan for CAAS Air Navigation Services Group - Design and conceptualize future concept of operations for Air Traffic Services
