Included exercising of all GPIO ports, SPI Bus, Power Supply monitoring, OSSD monitoring, and core Safety Bus protocol. - Wrote I2C and UART peripheral drivers for porting code to new STM32 ARM processors. - Developed communications protocol and firmware for a key safety system interface board (C, RS-232).- Debugged noise testing failures for Time-of-flight Sensor board, modifying firmware to correct EMC failures while maximizing the noise immunity of the system. - Developed data analysis tool in C for verification of beam coding patterns for use in Light Curtain systems. - Wrote diagnostics firmware for debugging field failures (RFID chattering, noise issues for various sensors), resulting in the resolution of multiple customer problems in order to maintain market share.
