I'm Joel Ridings, an architect with 15 years of experience in the industry. As the Managing Director of Novum, I am dedicated to leading master planning, design processes, and client consultations for our school and education projects.At Novum, I thrive on delivering thoughtful and innovative solutions that cater to our school clients' ever-evolving needs. My expertise lies in design, problem solving, strategic thinking, master planning, and community consultation. As a natural leader, I excel in presenting to client groups and guiding teams to successful project outcomes. In my role, as Managing Director, I lead a team of around 20 individuals, fostering collaboration and seamless project execution.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of being the Project Director for numerous impactful building projects, including at Emmanuel College, Moreton Bay College, Moreton Bay Boys' College, Genesis Christian College, Toowoomba Grammar School, St James Lutheran College, Rivermount College, Hills College, Toowoomba Christian College, and Riverside Christian College.Additionally, my involvement in Master Planning projects for schools such as Moreton Bay College, Moreton Bay Boys' College, Trinity Anglican School, Toowoomba Grammar School, St James Lutheran College, Bayside Christian College, Hills College, and Genesis Christian College has left a lasting positive impact on their respective communities.Since co-founding Novum in 2017, my professional aspiration revolves around nurturing our team's growth to better serve school clients across Queensland. I am committed to delivering innovative and purposeful project outcomes that directly respond to our clients' evolving requirements.I am an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects, the Association of Consulting Architects, and Learning Environments Australasia. To stay informed about the latest innovations in both architecture and education, I engage in ongoing professional development. Regular visits to schools throughout Australia and New Zealand provide invaluable insights into cutting-edge built outcomes.
