I am a driven and people focused Robotics Engineer with a wide range of experience in Mechanical Engineering and Robot System Design, developed from my time in industry and volunteer engineering organisations. My teammates and colleagues know me as a motivating person, focused on finding new and innovative solutions to problems throughout my journey at Swinburne University of Technology, Team Swinburne Formula SAE and AQUAWORKS. My key achievements in areas of interest include:Mechanical Engineering:- Cultivated research, design, manufacture, and validation of a ride and roll mode-controlled suspension system for the Team Swinburne 2020/21 AWD Formula SAE car, including continuous assembly integration with complex car sub systems such as an all new in-hub gearbox and motor system, powertrain cooling, carbon fibre monocoque and aerodynamics package. - Autonomously managed the design, optimisation, manufacture and production line integration of bespoke automation machine tools for beverage manufacturing applications. Application design criteria targeted at increasing overall facility autonomy and personnel safety for 12L and 500ml water bottle production line manufacture. Robotics System Design- Spearheaded design and integration of high quality pneumatic and electrical robotics systems with programming and test engineering throughout project life cycle. - Engineered high quality simulation, design, manufacture and multistage prototyping of a high speed lightweight 6 axis manipulator for pick and place tasks. - Automation of existing production line equipment and design of CNC machines for subtractive and additive material processing.
