GoHealth sells Medicare Advantage insurance plans for a variety of states and providers. My team is responsible for consuming, storing, and making available data from various carriers, vendors, and internal tools. When I joined the team, our tech stack was primarily focused on Airflow for data ingestion, SSIS for ETL processes, and SQL Server as our data warehouse. Within my first year, we started transitioning to Redshift. I had the privilege of being at the forefront with our new infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in guiding design decisions and developing essential migration tools. This transition allowed us to handle volumes of data that were simply not feasible on our previous on-premises platform. As we continued to evolve our technology suite, I built a Terraform-based tool that reduced setup times from days to minutes and significantly boosting developer productivity.More recently, my focus has shifted towards enhancing our data interchange capabilities with an identity resolution vendor. I've successfully implemented a fully automated, reliable system leveraging AWS Data Migration Service (DMS), Go Lambda functions, and ECS services in both Go and Java to ensure seamless daily data exchanges.

cleverbridge provides e-commerce solutions internationally for software and other digital goods. In practical terms, that means handling all aspects of software sale from translated shopping carts to subscription payments.The majority of my responsibilities originate from the digital marketing services department who cleverbridge clients can partner with on a contract basis for email and performance-based marketing. . I am responsible for ensuring data is synchronized between our internal data sources and external marketing providers. Through a combination of finely tuned processes and custom software, I've been able to standardize the request process in order to reduce unnecessary questions, roadblocks, and construct a monitoring system to identify failures and errors with minimal effort.

Tech@MyDesk is a managed IT provider serving a variety of customer types throughout the city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs. As the role of the web in business has changed, I've had the opportunity to develop and manage everything from informational websites to custom applications.My position with Tech@MyDesk arose from clients’ needs for a presence on the web. Initially, that meant designing an informational website but as time progressed and cloud-based applications came into vogue, clients started requesting custom applications and integration between applications. Depending on the requirements of a specific project, I typically assume the role of the developer building or augmenting solutions or as the project manager overseeing development to ensure that a quality product is delivered on time and on budget. This varied role allows me to understand granular details of a project without losing focus on of the overall plan.
