Active engagement in the team for continuous improvement and implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies in the existing Bicycle Assembly Line. Team manager for implementing a new automated production line of aluminum frames. Coordinated a team for prototyping gym equipment covering from design, through engineering to production.

Responsible for the development of Stork – a Stone-Cork composite material - from the initial concept, to prototype development and validation, pilot production and certification. Assisted in market analysis and business model development. At this time I also had the opportunity to develop skills in design of experiments, 3D modeling and technical data analysis.

Integrated the engineering team and participated in different R&D projects involving many stakeholders of the stone industry (extraction and transformation companies, certification agencies and research institutes. I was involved in surveying and analysing processes in view of offering services towards vertical integration. At this time, I became acquainted with the stone industry processes, its limitations and potential. I have also applied and adapted advanced mechanical characterization methods and procedures to the requirements of stone and derivative materials.
