Currently, I am the director of marketing for Free Range Games. In my time with Free Range Games, I've built a marketing department from the ground up. This involved starting up multiple processes and tools across email, endemic media, paid media, sales channels, and PR from scratch. The job covers both the Free Range brand and the video game titles, I work across all game teams. I mentor two direct reports and enjoy being involved in their professional development. I lead up the company's self publishing efforts as well, publishing titles on PC and Meta Quest. Last, but not least, I launched The Lord Rings: Return to Moria with an amazing dev team and fantastic publisher in North Beach Games. This involved working on strategy and content for the game's multiplatforms launch and multiple title updates.Previously, I was Senior Brand Manager at games publisher, Versus Evil. I managed go-to-market campaigns and branding for all titles. I worked with developers from the U.S., Romania, China, New Zealand, Ireland, and more to bring their games to financial success. I managed all major marketing agencies: PR, media, creative, and web. Prior to Versus Evil, I was Senior Brand Manager for The Walking Dead at Telltale Games. I set marketing strategy for the franchise, as well as for all the releases in the various stages of their lifecycles. I ran the global marketing campaign for the brand. I worked daily with the development team on marketing assets, comms deadlines, and strategy.Before Telltale, I was an Associate Retail Marketing Manager at PlayStation. During my time I oversaw marketing activities at Best Buy, Amazon, GameStop and Target. This involved partnering across departments within those retail organizations to build strong relationships with the ultimate goal to get PlayStation products into their marketing programs. I also worked with strategic partners such as Activision and Warner Bros. on campaigns at retail. The channels I managed earned hundreds of millions in revenue for Sony every year.In 2012, I received my MBA at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business with concentrations in marketing and strategy.My first job was for the nation's leader in anime and Japanese entertainment, FUNimation Entertainment. I interned in 2008 and was eventually promoted to Brand Manager by 2012; working on such brands as Dragon Ball Z, Afro Samurai, and Mass Effect. I led creative teams, worked with international partners, and managed nationally televised programs. FUNimation Entertainment is now owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment.
